Excellent Location with Modern Amenities

ideal location updated shower well-equipped kitchenette
The location is ideal near the city center with easy access to attractions. I found Princes Street and the Royal Mile within a short walk. The bathroom included an updated shower. The kitchenette was a good size and well-equipped for making hot drinks.
Street noise was quite intrusive because of the single glazing. This made sleeping somewhat difficult even with earplugs.
Service
9/10
Staff response time was quite quick. I was surprised to see a welcome present of cookies. I found transportation to be very good with trams and buses close by. Many good restaurants were nearby.

A few issues

central location train station good communication cold room hot bathroom unsafe lock
I liked the location of the hotel. All attractions are close. The train station is also nearby. I thought the owner communication was good.
The room felt cold. The bathroom was too hot and I could not adjust the radiator temperature. I felt the locks using only a password was unsafe. Previous guests may intrude.
